Summer 2021

Well the summer has started off to a fast and furious start.

I am teaching The Summer Session of Introduction to Video at CUNY New York City College of Technology.

I am so thrilled to be teaching this class. It is the online section and this is my first time teaching virtually. It is a totally new experience and one I am thrilled to tackle. My class seems really engaged and excited about filmmaking and movies.

I am trying to structure the class in a very open forum collaboration style. I want the students to feel comfortable discussing movies, and visual storytelling concepts.

The first two weeks are geared around pre-production. The following will all be about production. The last weeks are post production. The students are really going to be able to create some cool work.

We are also going to be doing VLOG posts so that they can showcase and share their progress in the class.

I am also going to be doing a little vlogging for the class as well. It was something we did a lot of in grad school and I really miss it.

I am also a judge in the New York City High School Graphic Arts Competition, which is coming to a close soon and we will have a winner for the video track.

The movie, OFU Club is getting closer and closer to production. I just last week locked down All American Burger for a major scene in the film. We are still working on a high school location which seems more challenging than I thought.
